The Site
Elias+, in partnership with WSP, fullfilled their role as Owner’s Representative for the redevelopment of Monkton Park, a 6-acre site at Queen Street West and James Potter Road. The team provided design review, contract administration, construction oversight, commissioning, and post-construction services. The park was transformed into a fully accessible community space featuring a central sports field, tennis and pickleball courts, a multi-sport court, a 420 m² playground, sand play area, Trekfit fitness circuit, custom shade shelter, illuminated walking loop, and extensive landscaping integrated with stormwater management. Designed to AODA standards, the park promotes active transportation, safety, and community engagement.
